Information Architecture
The site had to be built within the framework of a pre-established Magento back-end environment so we had to take time to map out exactly how we were going to get the best possible experience. Our clients number one goal was to launch on-time so efficiency in development was crucial.
Wireframes
We had a timeline that supported 3 separate rounds of wireframe presentations to our client. This would provide us with the proper feedback to design, present, and revise any and all design explorations.
Design System Creation
With multiple designers on the team I wanted to make sure all screens were consistent and everyone was using a cohesive library to get visual designs finished in able to hit our deadlines.
Visual Design
We were limited in our color palette and visual assets due to legal requirements within the tobacco industry so we went with a very simple approach to our design and leaned into the motto of “less is more”
